Tina Reiser -
Tina learned to crochet as a young girl in
Texas, where finding indoor activities to escape the heat was an
on-going quest. Just five years ago she decided to give knitting a try
and it quickly became her favorite hobby, jumping ahead of sewing,
genealogy and tennis. Her love of reading would not give way, however,
so she’s figured out that she can knit and consume books at the same
time by listening to books on her MP3 player.
Tina’s background in education and social work is a natural fit when it
comes to working with new knitters, and she likes nothing more than
helping someone pick out a project or learn a new knitting skill. Among
her favorite things to teach is the invisible seam and she’ll be more
than happy to show you how to sew together your project so it looks
professionally finished.
